To achieve educational goal for cultivating professional talent of tropical agricultural biotechnology, the undergraduate curriculum of Department of Biological Science and Technology (BST) was classified as four core learning fields including Plant and Microbiology Technology, Laboratory Animal and Embryo Technology, Nature Products Technology, and Bioresource and Molecular Diagnosis Technology. BST offer theory and practice parallel course which equipped with instrument and advanced equipment for students to strengthen technical ability. In order to promote R&D capability, BST has devoted to develop technological innovation and featured products by industry-academia cooperation with Pingtung Agricultural Biotechnology Park (PABP) and local industries. Students can enhance practical ability by joining in and conducting these industry-academia cooperation projects. Moreover, BST establish double degree program with international universities to promote international exchange and cooperation, and build up a global perspective for students. We expected students will become international mobile talent who have professional quality and ability after BST training.
